Panzer IVs (Luke, age 9) vs T-34s (Will, age 11)
I sat up the table for the first ever Flames of War battle for Will and Luke. Tank Aces is an awesome start up game for young players. We played with 500 points. Luke initially wanted two Panthers but changed his mind to having more tanks instead and went with 5 Confident Veteran Panzer IVs (proxied by panther models).
Will did not have his Americans ready to go yet so he played the Soviets. He had 10 Confident Trained T-34s. Will rolled the "Halves" scenario and Luke was the attacker. Luke also won the initiative and went first.
